Founded in 1955 in Padua, Italy, Zilmet is the world’s largest manufacturer of expansion tanks and a global leader in heat exchangers and plumbing products. Still family-owned and operated, Zilmet serves customers in more than 100 countries with a reputation for quality, innovation, and reliability.

To better support the U.S. market, Zilmet USA opened in 2012 and has continued to grow under the leadership of General Manager Scott Jacobsen. In 2025, we opened our new 150,000 sq. ft. headquarters and manufacturing plant in Georgetown, South Carolina. Designed with cutting-edge automation and robotics, the facility allows us to deliver faster, more flexible service while creating skilled jobs in the local community.
